To ensure our employees' safety, we have an extensive Employee Emergency Preparedness program that includes emergency response training, videos and brochures. We have cabinets throughout our facilities, each stocked with enough medical supplies, food and water, blankets and other emergency supplies to support people for three days.

We have a health services plan to address first aid needs, and a corporate search and rescue program that will be carried out by our emergency wardens in a disaster situation.

We have established a Family Communications Centre that employees can use if they are unable to contact family members through normal means in a disaster situation.

We also encourage our employees to have a family plan for emergencies, and to know what plans are in place for their communities and schools.
