Feedback requested on the Draft TELUS Communications
Company's BC Electronic Equipment Stewardship Plan

This is the first draft of TELUS' B.C. Electronic Stewardship Plan, and it addresses all elements of the Plan including products included in the program, collection, processing and disposition, product recovery targets, stakeholder consultation etc.

Interested stakeholders are invited to provide comments and feedback on this Draft Plan.

The B.C. Government has expanded the electronic and electrical product category of its Recycling Regulation under the Environmental Management Act.

In response, TELUS has developed an Electronic Equipment Stewardship Plan for B.C. to provide for the reuse and recycling of certain electronic products used by TELUS customers. Specifically this Stewardship Plan addresses the electronic and electrical product category - July 1, 2010 - Section 2.1.

  2. Register for the June 10th conference call

    TELUS is conducting one public consultation conference call pertaining to the Draft TELUS B.C. Electronic Equipment Stewardship Plan. Attendees will receive information about the Program development and have the opportunity to ask questions or make comments.

    Date & Time: Thursday, June 10th, 2010 - Time: 8:30am (PST)

    Register: You must pre-register for this call by 3pm (PST), Wednesday, June 9th. Call details will be sent to you.
