- Due to the varied designs and layouts of these complexes, it is
important that the building owner/developer/contractor contact the
local TELUS Communications Inc. Building Industry Consulting Service
(BICS) department before the tendering stage is started, to obtain
recommendations and requirements for service. (Contacts)
- For the protection of your communications equipment, life and
building, TELUS Communications Inc. requires the placement of a No. 6
Green insulated A.W.G. or larger ground wire at the protector
terminal. This ground wire shall be connected to a suitable
building ground electrode and installed as specified by The Canadian
Electrical Code Part 1. It is the builder's/owner's/developer's
responsibility to provide and install the ground wire.
