  1. All aerial entrance conduit for residential buildings covered in this section shall be rigid galvanized steel (mast), electrical metallic tubing (E.M.T.) or rigid P.V.C  UV.  This conduit is for TELUS Communications Inc. services only.  (Must meet The Canadian Electrical Code Requirements Part 1).  All underground conduit shall be P.V.C. DBII orange.
  2. The entrance conduit size shall be determined by the number of dwelling units in the building as identified below.

  1. Buildings of 3 and 4 units require a CSA approved weatherproof enclosure complete with a 19mm plywood backboard.  The inside wire must enter enclosure bottom right corner.
  2. For grounding requirements refer to Section 3 Grounding Requirements.
