Network Service Facilities Facilities that connect TELUS Communications Inc.'s central office to the Network Interface at a residence, building or property
Non-Network Service Facilities and/or equipment beyond the Demarcation Point
Demarcation Point A Demarcation Point is the mutually agreed upon location that provides for the interconnection of TELUS Communications Inc. and customer facilities.  The Demarcation Point is also referred to as the "Customer Connection Point" in the TELUS Communications Inc. Tariff
Public Telephone A single line terminal device owned, installed, wired, and maintained by TELUS Communications Inc or Private Carrier for public use
Connecting Block A device used to terminate cable or wire.
Distribution Facilities The raceways and housing required to place in building wire from the Demarcation Point, customer's station apparatus or terminal equipment
Main Telephone Room/Panel The room used as the cross-connecting point of incoming cables from TELUS Communications Inc.'s Central Office and the in building cable system
Protector A device placed at the customer's premise on incoming network lines to protect against lightning and power surges
