We are committed to improving the quality of life in the communities where our customers and employees live and work. We are proud to be an Imagine Caring Company, a designation given by The Canadian Centre for Philanthropy to companies that donate at least one per cent of their pre-tax profits to charitable organizations.

In 2000, we contributed more than $13 million of financial and in-kind assistance to health, education, arts and charitable organizations across Canada. In addition, we match donations pledged by employees and retirees to Canadian charities during our annual workplace campaign. Last year, TELUS and its employees donated more than $2.8 million to approximately 1,100 charities.
