Darren Entwistle
President and Chief Executive Officer

Darren joined TELUS as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2000, bringing extensive and diverse leadership experience in global telecommunications operations.

Before joining TELUS, Darren, an 18-year veteran of the communications industry, spent seven years on the senior leadership team at Cable & Wireless in the United Kingdom, culminating with his appointment as President of the company for the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1999.

Darren earned a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree from Concordia University, an MBA in finance from McGill University and a diploma in Network Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is on a number of boards including the TD Bank Financial Group and McGill University. Darren also serves as Chair of the Royal Conservatory of Music's Capital Campaign
