Eros is responsible for leading TELUS’ integrated network technology strategy. He establishes the long-term direction for technologies and services which includes planning, engineering, and deploying TELUS’ industry leading broadband networks, and oversees spectrum, development architecture, network innovation platforms, cyber security, and global vendor management.
Before joining TELUS in 2000, Eros served as the executive vice president and chief technology officer of TELUS Mobility, where he helped shape the strategic evolution of the wireless network and integrated TELUS Mobility's network operations after the acquisition of Clearnet Communications.
During his tenure at Clearnet, Eros held the executive positions of chief technology officer and chief information officer where he led the initial launches of both the company’s Mike iDEN network and its national PCS CDMA network. Before joining Clearnet in 1995, Eros held senior management positions in engineering and marketing at Bell Mobility.
Eros holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor in Canada, and a Master of Business Administration, from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University in Canada. He serves as Vice-Chair for the Digital ID and Authentication Council of Canada and is a member of the Ontario Board of Directors for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award. In 2014 Eros received the IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Industry Leader award in recognition for his contributions and leadership in the communications industry.
