Team TELUS Charitable Giving
A cornerstone of our commitment to making a positive difference in our communities is the Team TELUS Charitable Giving program. Through the program, TELUS will match donations made by the program participants to eligible Canadian charities, to a maximum of $10,000 per year per individual. In 2011, TELUS and program participants donated $7.1 million dollars to over 2,900 registered Canadian charities.
Since 2000, this annual workplace campaign has provided TELUS and team members with an opportunity to contribute more that $57 million to charitable organizations in Canada. These organizations support many causes, including health and well-being, the environment, arts and culture, hunger, homelessness, literacy, education, sport, and disaster relief.
