About the Nature Conservancy of Canada

The Nature Conservancy of Canada is Canada’s leading land conservation organization, getting results you can walk on. In nearly 50 years the Nature Conservancy of Canada and its friends have helped to protect more than 2 million acres of important landscapes and the species that live there. By protecting and caring for land right across Canada we are making sure that everyone will still have a chance to enjoy our natural areas in the future.

Helping protect where we live

TELUS believes that the important work the Nature Conservancy of Canada does in our communities will help ensure that Canada remains beautiful and wild for future generations. The diversity of Canada’s geography – where our customers and team members live, work and play – requires special consideration based on the land and species that inhabit it. Our donation, made in celebration of our customers’ decision to go paperless, in those communities where we work and live, is affecting tangible results across the country. Thank you.

Team up for bears

Grizzly bears are an iconic and ecologically important species in British Columbia. The Nature Conservancy of Canada will receive support from Klaus Gretzmacher and Northern Lights Film through proceeds from the sale of the DVD “The Grizzly Bears of Glendale Cove”. Five dollars from each DVD will help advance NCC’s conservation and research in key grizzly bear habitat on the Central Coast and in the Kootenays. The educational DVD is available for sale now and can be purchased online.
