The TELUS Vancouver Board was launched in January 2006 and has continued to be chaired by Nini Baird. For 2012, the annual donation budget is $800,000.

Since inception the Vancouver Community Board has donated $4.6 million to 386 projects. In 2011, it donated $800,000 to 73 projects.

The TELUS Vancouver Community Board receives more applications than can be considered, which means there is strong competition for our community investment budget. To make funding decisions that meet critical needs in our city, programs that fill an immediate need in the community have a greater chance of board approval than those that are less urgent. Before applying for a TELUS Vancouver Community Board grant, please familiarize yourself with our specific funding criteria which are in addition to the standard TELUS Community Board criteria.

Charitable organizations that meet the TELUS Vancouver Community Board criteria are invited to apply using our online application.
