Nancy Greene Raine

Nancy Greene Raine joins TELUS as the chairman of the Thompson Okanagan Community Board in 2011. As Canada's most successful ski racer, Nancy was named female athlete of the 20th century. She and her husband Al Raine worked to promote ski tourism in British Columbian including in Whistler and since 1994 at Sun Peaks near Kamloops. Nancy served as Chancellor of Thompson Rivers University from 2005 to 2011.

A recipient of both the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia, Nancy was appointed to the Senate of Canada by Prime Minister Harper in January 2009 where she represents the Thompson-Okanagan-Kootenay region.
