The TELUS Atlantic Canada Community Board was launched in March 2009. This distinguished board, led by General Rick Hillier, allocates funding to projects that focus on youth and showcase social and/or technological innovation throughout Atlantic Canada, including Nova Scotia, Newfoundland/Labrador, New Brunswick and PEI. In 2012, the annual donation budget is $500,000.
Since inception the Atlantic Canada Community Board has donated $1.1 million to 65 projects. In 2011, it donated $500,000 to 29 projects.
Charitable organizations who meet our criteria are invited to apply using our online application.
