TELUS' support of skiing remains strong. TELUS is committed to the ongoing development and future success of young skiers across the country. We are a proud sponsor of the Alpine Canada Alpin.. We are also title sponsor to a number of ski and snowboard festivals across the country.
Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA)
Alpine Canada Alpin is the governing body for ski racing in Canada and TELUS is the official telecommunications provider for ACA through till 2012. ACA’s 200,000 supporting members include coaches, officials and the elite racers of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team and the Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team. As part of our sponsorship, TELUS is also involved in both the men’s and the women’s Winterstart World Cups in Lake Louise, the TELUS Panorama World Cup, the TELUS Whistler World Cup, Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team events including the TELUS IPC World Cup, and the Canadian Junior and Juvenile alpine events. We also sponsor the headgear for two athletes individually (John Kucera and Stefan Guay) and headgear for the Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team.
