dollars for dollars

TELUS is committed to making a positive difference in the communities where we live, work and serve. A cornerstone of this commitment is demonstrated each year by the TELUS team through dollars for dollars, our team member charitable giving program.

Each fall, TELUS runs the dollars for dollars campaign, where TELUS matches team member and retiree charitable donations dollar for dollar.  In 2006 this program raised over $5.2 million dollars which was donated to over 2800 registered Canadian charities in 2007.

We are constantly looking for ways to leverage our technology, our expertise and our resources to help shape the lives of young Canadians. TELUS community contributions are focused around our three pillars of community investment - Arts and Culture; Education and Sport; and Health and Wellbeing.

Through the power of many, we can make a positive difference in the lives of the youth in our community, and realize our vision to be Canada's premier corporate citizen.

dollars for fundraisers

TELUS encourages its team members to participate in fundraising events in their local communities.  Team members benefit from a healthy life style, team building and camaraderie, and in addition TELUS matches donations raised by team members going towards a charitable cause.  TELUS will match up to $500 per individual, or up to $5,000 for a team of 4 or more TELUS team members. 

Event or initiative must benefit a registered Canadian charity.
