At TELUS, we focus our community investment efforts in three pillars of funding: arts and culture, education and sport, health and well-being in our environment initiatives. These pillars are supported by two platforms to ensure our contributions benefit young Canadians and/or showcase the innovative use of technology.
We are committed to being a leader in corporate philanthropy as an active participant in our communities and realize that it must be owned and executed locally, in partnership with the community. In 2008, our community boards allocated a total of $5.35 million to support 366 projects in their communities.
