  1. How do I apply on a specific position?
    • From the careers page, click "career opportunities" and then select the job posting you would like to apply to. Click "Apply online".
    • Select "I am a new user," enter your email address and create confidential password for yourself. This password will allow you to access your profile in our database at any time.
    • You will be asked to enter personal information (name, address, phone number, etc.) and may be asked to answer some pre-screening questions.
    • You will also have the option to attach your resume or build it using our resume builder tool.
    • Finally, you will be taken to the Summary page where you can view your entire application before submitting. Once you are ready to submit your application click the "Submit" button.
    You will now be taken under consideration for this opportunity.

    Important: The only way to apply for a position is by doing so online. We do not accept resumes via fax or email.
  2. How do I receive email updates on jobs I may be interested in?
    If there are no current opportunities listed online that are of interest to you, you can submit a Career Alert profile which will allow us to consider you for future vacancies and also send email alerts should a position be posted that you have indicated you'd be interested in. This profile tells us about your job preferences i.e. job type, location, work hours, etc. You can update your profile at any time to ensure we have your most current information.
    • From the Careers page, click "Access my Profile".
    • Select "I am a new user", enter your email address and create a confidential password for yourself. This password will allow you to access your profile in our database at any time.
    • You will be prompted to complete the profile section your personal information.
    • If you wish to receive email updates regarding newly posted positions that may match your job preferences, please check "I would like to be notified of future opportunities at TELUS via email".
    • Finally, you will also be asked to describe your job-related preferences.
    You will now be eligible for consideration for future opportunities.
  3. Can I update my profile and/or apply for a new position?
    If you are a returning candidate and would like to update your profile and/or apply to a new position, simply log in as a "returning candidate" and follow the appropriate steps.
  4. I forgot my password, can I get a new one?
    Simply log in as a returning candidate, click "Forgot Password", and you will receive an email within a few seconds from the Taleo Web Support Team describing how you can set up a new password.

    Having issues? If you are experiencing any errors in retrieving your password please email employment@telus.com and ask for a manual password reset.
  5. What can I expect after submitting an application?
    You will receive an automated email notification confirming the receipt of your application. Your application will be captured in our database and will be reviewed against the position you have applied for. Your profile will also be matched against any other suitable opportunities that correspond to the job criteria you have selected. If there is a current opportunity that matches your qualifications and experience, you will be contacted by a recruiter.
  6. Can you provide me with updates as to the status of my application?
    No - we are unable to provide status updates regarding applications but you are able confirm whether your application was received successfully by logging into your profile and clicking on "My Jobpage".

    If your application corresponds to our requirements, a member of our recruitment team will be in contact with you. Check our site regularly to see what other positions we have available that may interest you.
  7. Is there any other way to apply?
    No. Our recruiters rely on our online system to source, screen and hire candidates. Using our online application process is the only way to apply for jobs at TELUS.
